SKIING & SNOWBOARDING
Want to get some resort skiing in during your stay at the A-Lodge? Eldora Mountain Resort is exactly an hour from our the front door. To get to Eldora from Lyons you can take a lovely and relaxing drive past Hidden Lake and through Ward, Colorado. This back way avoids the traffic coming up Boulder Canyon from Boulder and on a powder day can be just as quick as coming from Boulder.

Eldora is a great ski mountain with alpine terrain for beginners, intermediate skiers and experts alike. Eldora also has a world class cross country center with enough trails to keep your heart pumping for an entire season. Don’t have skis? Don’t worry you can rent your cross country or alpine gear on site at the base area for alpine skis and at the Nordic Center for classic and skate skis.
Eldora also has a great ski school that can take the fear out of skiing if the sport is new to you or help take you to the next level if you are ready to start taking on expert terrain.
While we may not be the closest option we are going to be one of the most affordable options as your Eldora ski motel. Our location makes for a great link up with other activities including backcountry skiing in Rocky Mountain National Park and on the Indian Peaks.
