WHO WE ARE

Welcome to A-Lodge Lyons!

A-Lodge Lyons is conveniently located on Main Street in downtown Lyons, right across from Oskar Blues. Our Lyons property includes lodging options for everyone.

The centerpiece of the hotel property is our fully remodeled, historic Victorian vacation rental in the heart of downtown Lyons. Everything in your personal vacation rental is high end, professionally curated and all with our signature adventure character. This unit includes three bedrooms (one king, two queens), 2.5 baths, each with a beautiful shower and a spacious private backyard that includes a horseshoe set. The living room comes complete with a gas fireplace, DirecTV, stunning kitchen, and a dining room for group or family dinners after a day in the mountains.

The King Suite is like your own apartment with two king bedrooms (king and queen beds) a kitchen, dining area and living room.

There are also five standard hotel rooms at A-Lodge Lyons all equipped with kitchens, ideal for making a hearty breakfast before you head out on a day full of adventure. The Queen Kitchenette units have a futon couch in addition to the queen bed. The Queen Kitchenette with Bunk Bed units substitute the couch for a bunk bed for larger groups or families. The queen kitchenette with bunk beds is perfect for families on a budget who want to make some meals at the hotel and give the kids each their own bed.

All of the properties share the grounds with one of the most popular social spots in Lyons, the Rock Garden, our beer garden / food truck park / music venue / private event space where you can enjoy a beverage, grab some food, catch the game or listen to live music. This also makes for a great place to host your event or rehearsal dinner with the ability to combine your Lyon’s lodging and your event all in the same location.

All of our lodging comes with free Wi-Fi and great access to our Rocky Mountain playground.

The A-Lodge was founded in Boulder in 2014 on the principles of ACCESS. ADVENTURE. AMENITIES. Our goal is to give you access to the best experiences that Boulder County has to offer, with quality accommodations and amenities, all close to world class trails, climbs and outdoor adventures. We are all about being a great host while building local community. There is nothing better in our eyes than bringing our guests and locals together!

Whether you’re climbing, fishing, skiing, cycling, hiking, or taking in the town, the A-Lodge offers instant access to all your favorite adventures and the right amenities to come home to after an exciting day off the beaten path.

We consider ourselves “adventure concierge” and encourage you to ask about the local trails and crags, meet new friends by our firepit, and make plans for future adventures. We are here to make sure you have a great Colorado experience. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable – we want you to let us know!

Thanks for choosing the A-Lodge!

Our goal is to give you access to the best outdoor adventures that Boulder has to offer, with the best rustic accommodations near town. This has led us to build the A-Lodge around three principals: Access, Adventure, and Amenities.

Whether you’re climbing, fishing, skiing, cycling, hiking, or taking in the town, the A-Lodge offers instant access to all your favorite adventures and the right amenities to come home to after an exciting day off the beaten path.

We consider ourselves “adventure concierge” and encourage you to ask about the local trails and crags, meet new friends by our firepit, make plans for future adventures, and wash off the dirt from the trail in Fourmile Creek (the creek literally runs through the A-Lodge.) We are here to make sure you have a great Colorado experience. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable – we want you to let us know!

We are on-site seven days a week (as is Gunner – our partner with four-legs). We are committed to providing you with A-level service and accommodations. We love to talk adventure and have many great recommendations for you during your stay in Boulder. We will likely see you when you return to enjoy a cold beverage at our newly renovated saloon in our lobby (also a historic landmark of Boulder County).

Thanks for choosing the A-Lodge!

Welcome to the A-Lodge!

CONTACTLESS CHECK IN: WE ARE A CONTACTLESS CHECK IN FACILITY. That means we don’t have a normal front desk. With only 7 units, its more convenient for our guests to use our smart locks and a unique check in code emailed to you directly. This provides easy access to your room whenever you arrive, high safety protocol, and quick and simple check in procedure. Just look for the email from us that provides all your check in instructions as well as contact info for a local A-Lodge representative in case of an emergency or questions.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT: Check-in time is 4:00 pm. For early check ins, please purchase or request one before you arrive. Check-out time is 10:00 am. Late departures may be available for purchase or request.

CANCELLATIONS: We have a 7 day cancellation policy. Please inform us of cancellation more than 7 days before your reservation otherwise we cannot provide any type of refund.

SMOKING: All guest rooms and common areas are non-smoking. The lodge has dedicated smoking areas designated by signs. Smoking in your room can result in up to a $500 fee. Please do not throw trash on the ground, it will inevitably end up in the beautiful Fourmile Creek… Or we will end up picking it up which we are not psyched on.

CANNABIS: As you may know, Colorado legalized marijuana consumption under Amendment 64. At the A-Lodge, we recognize the people of Colorado’s choice and respect this decision. We ask that you do not smoke cannabis in your room, but go to our designated smoking areas. Same as our policy on tobacco. Smoking in your room can result in up to a $500 fee.

PETS: Dogs are allowed at the lodge (2 pet maximum). Pet clean up is the responsibility of pet owners. Pets must be attended at all times and may not be left alone in the room. Damage and clean up costs will be assessed by management and passed through to pet owners. The lodge has rooms for individuals with pet allergies. Make sure to ask at the time of booking.

A CREDIT CARD IS REQUIRED: A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to guarantee any reservation. All credit cards are authorized for the full amount of the room and daily incidentals at the time of check-in. We accept the following credit cards: American Express, Diners Club, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do before, after, or during your stay. And no question is a bad question.

GREEN PRACTICE

How would we be able to enjoy our adventures in the outdoors without the environment?

The A-Lodge is committed to protecting the environment through a wide range of policies and practices, including auditing hotel waste, recycling, purchasing eco-friendly products for in-room use, and reducing unnecessary laundering.

Recycling

We actively recyle the following products with Western Disposal: Paper, newspaper, magazines, plastic, cans, glass, and cardboard. Other products that we recycle using other outlets are: batteries, office equipment, print cartridges, light bulbs and other hazardous materials.

In Your Room

You will find a blue recycling bin in your room, low flow shower heads, the linen & towel change program that will reduce detergent use and the use of water, and energy efficient lighting.

Eco-Purchase Policy

Here is a list of some products that we purchase based on their recycling content: Tissues, toilet paper, office paper, napkins, and paper cups. We are proud to have long life LED bulbs and energy efficient lights in use throughout the lodge. The A-Lodge Boulder is presently working on becoming LEED certified.
