The Rocky Mountain playground can be beautiful and exhilarating, rewarding and kind but it can also be deadly or in some cases miserable if you are not prepared. In certain times of the year you could have heat stroke from sun exposure during the day and if you were to get stuck out at night have one of the most bone-chilling experiences of life. Knowing the weather and being prepared so you do not get lost is key.

There are also trail closures for wildlife during certain times of the year as well as for trail work or in response to flooding. Knowing which trails are open and respecting trail closures is critical to wildlife habitat and in some cases emergency workers in an area. Please check these conditions and honor them before entering an area. Cliff closures follow in this same category and are not only important for wildlife but to keep access to climbing to these pristine areas.

What makes the beer garden so special, well first it is outside so you can continue to enjoy the outdoors after your day in the mountains. Second, we bring food trucks on site so you can eat and drink all within steps of your accommodations. Third, we have a live stage and bring in music frequently from March until November with talented acts from across the region and country. Lastly of course is the beer, few things taste as good as a cold one after pumping out the miles on your mountain bike in the Rocky Mountains.
