Directions to Eldora Ski Area:
From the A-Lodge, go right out of the driveway to go back to Boulder Canyon (Highway119). Turn right (West) to go to Nederland. Continue on 119 South to the edge of town and turn right onto the Eldora ski road. the ski resort will be 3 miles up.

Eldora Lodging
When staying with us in Lyons Colorado you have access to year-round outdoor activities. In the winter this includes skiing at Eldora Mountain Resort. There is a direct route to Eldora from Lyons that does not require you to drive back through Boulder and instead takes you through the beautiful St. Vrain Canyon. This is a stunning scenic drive and is not only more relaxing than the drive from Boulder via Boulder Canyon but more reliable as the Boulder Canyon route can get busy on a powder day. The drive from our location to the ski resort is exactly an hour, making us one of the more affordable Eldora lodging options in this proximity.
Eldora is a great ski mountain that receives over 300 inches of snow annually on 680 acres of skiable terrain. There is something for everyone with ski runs of all levels. The mountain is naturally designed to accommodate learning as the easiest runs are accessed first from the base lodge and as you move skiers left across the mountain the terrain gets more difficult culminating in the Corona Bowl. The Tenderfoot area is an ideal place to learn to ski and with a top notch ski school you will be in good hands.
Alpine & Nordic Skiing
Eldora also offers the best cross-country ski area in the front range of Colorado! If getting your heart rate up is your thing there is no better sport than skate or classic cross country to do so. It is easy on the joints and a full-body workout like none other. With 40 kilometers of trails for classic and skate skiing there are plenty of trails to keep you entertained for at least a week! Complete with a full rental service for those without their own gear and a variety of instructional opportunities for those without experience this is a complete Nordic center. Ready to take the jump and commit to being a “Nordi”? There is an onsite retail store that can outfit you with hardgoods and softgoods to set you up for success on the mountain.
