A-lodge boulder- I wanted to like it but it was a let down. The brook and exterior are very nice and beautiful. That's the major positive. The room needs major re-haul. The bed is okay but the bathroom is outdated. If the owner made a slight effort, it would go a long way. the soap dispenser in the shower was full of water not soap. They did not give 2 sets of body wash or shampoo/conditioner. The bathroom looks run down. The shower curtain hooks were old and look like they saw better days. The kitchenette could use a re-haul. The window shades are the cheap ones that break down. The hangers they provided were from Dollar Tree, plastic red ones. The owner needs to make an effort, sad, has potential due to exterior ambience. Would not repeat stay here.

Extremely disappointed, we were beyond excited to stay here, a room with a hot tub! Say no more, the hotel was easy to find, very pretty location. Staff at the front desk was friendly during check in, we were supposed to stay for 5 nights. Once we got our room key and entered the room, from a quick walk through it was cute and clean, it was also 50° inside the room and snow outside, my husband went to turn on the heater (no buttons inside or anywhere) it was blowing warm air, but stopped within the 5 min we were in the room, we found a mini portable heater the size of a tissue box, and we plugged that in and it worked. But then he went to turn on the fake fireplace and that also did not work, he went down to get a staff member, I had a cigarette in my hand (not lit) and was going to go across the parking lot as all the signs directed, and noticed they were almost to the room so decided to stay and see what the outcome would be, as soon as the man walked in he says "oh no smoking with the door open it smells like cigarettes, just don't want you getting an extra charge" which was impossible considering I was only holding one, but I understand to people who don't smoke we could smell like smoke. So I let that go. He played with the fireplace stating that this has happened with the last people and to give it a while and it would turn on, again we are from Florida and as much as we want to see snow we're not trying to sleep in a icebox. We didn't even last an hour before we went and checked out, we told the man at the counter that we were checking out because we couldn't get anything to work, and we were uncomfortable staying in a room that was so cold, he said "it's cold outside and the buildings are doing the best they can". Since I made a booking with Expedia he said he could not refund me (but after looking at their policy they don't refund anyone) thankfully I have trip insurance and called immediately and was able to get reimbursed and another hotel reservation.

I stayed in the hostel room for a few days and then came back and stayed in a motel style room and both were very clean and the motel style room had a TV too!A-Lodge is a little tucked away but close enough to fairly easily pop into Downtown Boulder, etc (it’s about 7 minutes drive from DT Boulder).Plus the parking is very easy and included in the price at A-Lodge!If you need a cost-effective but clean and accessible place in Boulder I highly recommend A-Lodge. The wifi is good for remote work too. There are multiple trails nearby (walking and hiking) within walking distance of A-Lodge. They have a sauna too!!Impeccable service from Kate, Fernando, and Echo at A-Lodge!They made sure I had everything I needed for my stays. 😌They each get 5/5 stars! 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This spot is a chill vibe, super peaceful, safe, and a close drive to everything! Plus as I mentioned the service is great! Check it out if you can!!

We had a lovely stay at A-Lodge. I came with my kids and they were happy and kept busy the whole time. The staff was so sweet with them. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful setting including the hike that starts right behind the lodge and the lovely creek. The room was wonderful, clean, and had everything we needed to be comfortable.

If you prefer natural surroundings to cityscapes, this is the place for you. Its ten minutes from Pearl Street via car, but you feel miles away. There is a bike/walking path into town and also a hiking trail behind resort. The sauna and Jacuzzi were great! I love having a kitchen to avoid the time and expense of eating out. The beers on tap were an extra bonus, as well as the firepit outside and fireplace inside the lodge. Friendly people complete the picture. The rooms are not plush and bathrooms somewhat dated, but clean. We had a plumbing issue which was fixed promptly. I recommend this as great value for the money.

A-Lodge has to be one of my favorite stays. Not only did they offer an affordable, amenity filled room (with a kitchenette!), but also a lovely setting with plenty of things to do. During our time, we enjoyed a hike that starts behind the lodge, the slackline park, and the sauna. It’s also an easy 5 min walk to a bus station that takes you to downtown Boulder/connecting transportation. And lastly, all the staff were super courteous. I enjoyed hanging out in the lobby with them by the super cozy fire place. Thanks Nick and all the staff for a lovely stay!

Great, beautiful location. Rustic charm. Very clean. Friendly and helpful front desk. Reasonably priced making our stay very enjoyable. Very poor WiFi service which made EV charging difficult and at times, impossible.

Loved this place for van/car camping. Husband and I stayed here twice, one at the beginning of our trip and again at the end. The staff were always friendly. Easy to car park and plug in. The bathrooms were easily assessable, not far from the car sites, clean, and always ran hot water. They could use some updating but they’re not horrible. They also provided free feminine hygiene items, toothpaste, and toothbrushes which was a nice extra amenity even if we didn’t use them. Also gave us towels whenever we needed to shower. The wifi was spotty near the car sites but not when you got near the lobby or cabins.

Situated close to Boulder, really a prime spot location wise. The stream is very nice too. Pretty minimal but gets the job done. The staff at the front desk are super friendly. Also nice that they provide towels for the showers!

We visited from Canada with stays in Aurora, Denver, and Colorado Springs on this trip. Comfort Inn, Crowne Plaza and Gaylord were the comparisons and Boulder was the best. A-Lodge has the comfiest beds, their branding is on point, property trails are nature at its purest and staff was in touch numerous times before we got there with friendly courtesy. There are resident deer families just behind the facility and up the mountain. Are they wild or pets? They didn't run away, rather were just as curious about us as we were about them! I've got the video footage to prove how close we were during the encounter. I've done a lot of hiking and have never experienced anything like that. Highly recommend.

The location in the mountains was perfect. It was quiet and peaceful. The grounds were kept up. Multiple fire pit locations was a nice plus. The dog area was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly. The skylight above the bed did make it a little hard to sleep in but not bad enough I won't stay here again. Nothing bad to really say. Looking forward to the next stay.
