FLY FISHING
Just out our door on the Fourmile Creek, trout are plentiful. However, for even bigger fish, try Boulder Creek, just a few hundred feet away. We recommend contacting Front Range Angles or Rocky Mountain Anglers to maximize your experience on the river. And remember to get a fishing license before casting into our creeks.
Your Fly Fishing Hotel
There are a lot of things that make Colorado a special place to visit, stunning scenery, beautiful weather, challenging mountains and more. Here in the Front Range as we call it Boulder offers its own special character and one of the main thrusts of this is the proximity of everything you could want from a small city, good restaurants, nightlife and dancing, shopping and more. After all there may not be another city in the world with brand stores for Arcteryx, Montbell, Black Diamond, Prana and almost every other recognizable outdoor brand. If you need to gear up before you get out Boulder is the spot.
The truly special part of this for an angler is you get all this and world class fishing all in the same location. Our location is set ten minutes from downtown yet is nestled among pine trees and surrounded by not one but two streams for your fly fishing pleasure. We are the closest thing you will find to a fly fishing hotel in Boulder or on the Front Range of Colorado. You can walk out the door of your accommodations and have your line in the water in less then five minutes. Hop in the car and all of Boulder Canyon opens up to you faster than anywhere else you can lay your head.
Combining Access & Amenities
Looking to mix it up, have you heard of Rocky Mountain National Park? This national treasure allows fishing and in water so clear you can see the colors on the rainbows as you taunt them with your lure. Click here for more information on sport fishing in RMNP.
Boulder open space incorporates many streams and ponds that allow fishing as well. For more information on that visit the Boulder County web site. For guided fishing trips there are several great local companies to take you out and show you the best spots and the best tackle for the local fish and season.
But most importantly is what we can offer as your fly fishing hotel, not just fully remodeled accommodations some with full kitchens to cook your catch but a whole suite of amenities to make your fishing trip the best it can be. With a pool and hot tub for relaxing after a day in the mountains, a stream side pavilion for having beers with the gang and an outdoor communal cooking space to accommodate an outdoor dinner we have everything you could want to be well rested, well fed and completely relaxed.
