Avalanche Safety 101: Avy Savvy Workshop Series

Colorado Mountain School, American Alpine Institute & A-Lodge have teamed up to provide a free avalanche safety 101 workshop to get you ready for a great season in the backcountry!

5:30pm – Arrival, grab a beer if you’d like, socialize with class members look around the property.

6:00pm-7:00pm Classroom overview of modern day avalanche safety 101. Brush up on your avalanche safety know how to have your best season in the backcountry yet!

CMS Guides will be there to share some knowledge and help you get tuned up for the season before the snow really starts to fly.

*This event is meant as a refresher for folks that have taken a Level 1 or avy rescue course.
