Intimate Live Music at A-Lodge Boulder
This November and December, A-Lodge Boulder will transform into an intimate mountain listening room, bringing together local musicians, music lovers, and the surrounding community for a series of cozy, thoughtfully curated live music evenings.
Inspired by the warmth of a mountain cabin gathering and the simplicity of live acoustic music, The A-Lodge House Concert Series will prioritize atmosphere, connection, and discovery over the traditional concert experience. Guests will be invited to settle in, grab a drink, discover new artists, and enjoy live music in a setting that feels personal and welcoming.
Madeleine Leigh is multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Boulder, Colorado. She writes songs as a meditation on grief, self-discovery, and transformation. Madeleine started her musical career as an upright bass player influenced by the legacy of Ray Brown. She is a founding member of Austin band’s Ley Line and Steel Betty and has toured both nationally and internationally since 2016. She released her debut album, as it is, in 2024. She is a twin, a lover of nature, and a storyteller.
Piper & Leo’s musicality is rooted in love – they are married after all. After criss-crossing the nation for a decade with New Orleans-based funk/soul/pop band Miss Mojo, the duo has settled into their new home of Colorado, and from these new roots has sprouted a new sound. Their rhythmic Americana wades into string-driven forms, but never strays too far from the deep feeling of soul music.
