Events Coordinator – A-Lodge Boulder
Part-Time or Full-Time | Hybrid Role (≈50% Remote / 50% On-Site)
Location: Boulder, CO
Schedule: Flexible scheduling (20–40 hrs/week depending on role fit)
At A-Lodge Boulder, we believe great events bring people together — whether it’s a wedding weekend, a corporate offsite, or a live music night after a day in the mountains. We’re a small, family-owned, adventure-driven lodge, and we’re looking for an Events Coordinator to own and grow our events program from first inquiry through final cheers.
This is a hybrid role combining remote sales and planning work with on-site coordination and event execution.\
Role Overview
The Events Coordinator (EC) owns the events sales pipeline, client communications, and internal coordination for all events hosted at A-Lodge Boulder. This role is equal parts relationship-builder, organizer, communicator, and problem-solver.
You’ll work closely with lodge leadership and on-site teams to ensure every event feels intentional, seamless, and aligned with the A-Lodge brand.
General Responsibilities
The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, selling, organizing, and executing events that reflect A-Lodge Boulder’s community-driven, adventure-forward ethos. Responsibilities include:
- Own the end-to-end event lifecycle: inquiry → proposal → booking → execution → post-event follow-up
- Manage and maintain the events sales pipeline, including lead tracking, response timelines, contracts, and payments
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event clients, partners, and vendors
- Coordinate event logistics such as timelines, room setups, staffing needs, AV requirements, and vendor access
- Communicate clear, timely event details with front desk, vendors, housekeeping, and management teams
- Create and distribute internal event briefs and team updates
- Provide on-site coordination and support during hosted events as needed
- Collaborate with leadership to refine event offerings, pricing, and packages
- Maintain accurate calendars, documentation, and reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and guest experience related to events
Types of Events You’ll Support & Lead
Private & Sold Events
You’ll manage inquiries, bookings, and coordination for:
- Weddings
- Elopements
- Corporate Retreats & Offsites
- Family Reunions
- Receptions & Private Parties
These range from intimate gatherings to full lodge buyouts and require thoughtful planning and guest communication.
Curated & Hosted A-Lodge Events
You’ll also help plan, promote, and execute signature A-Lodge programming, including:
- Live Music Nights
- Local Film Festivals
- Lodgetoberfest (with Wibby Brewing Partners)
- Adventure Story Hour
- Avalanche Awareness Clinics & Presentations
- Outdoor Industry Workshops
- & any other rad events you can think of to engage our community of adventurers!
These events are core to A-Lodge’s community presence and brand identity.
Who You Are
You have at least 2 years of event planning/coordination experience in service or hospitality industries with events hosting up to 200+ attendees
Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple projects
- Proven track record of initiative, managing time and projects effectively
- Strong communicator with a people-first mindset
- Experience in events, hospitality, sales, or coordination (preferred but not required)
- Comfortable working independently in a hybrid role
- Bonus points if you love the outdoors, climbing, skiing, or Boulder culture

Compensation
Based on comparable Event Coordinator roles in the greater Boulder, CO market and adjusted for a small, family-owned lodge:
- Pay: $21–$30/hour (DOE)
- Commission: 5% on closed event space sales
Final compensation will depend on experience, availability, and scope of responsibilities.
