Beacon Brush-Up: Avy Savvy Workshop Series

Colorado Mountain School & A-Lodge have teamed up to provide a free avalanche beacon brush up workshop to get you ready for the season!

5:45pm – Classroom overview of modern day avalanche transceivers and functions. Learn your beacon and the functionality of your partners

6:15pm-7:15pm Outdoor Practice. Brush off the rust and make sure you smooth and efficient with your avy beacon.

CMS Guides will be there to share some knowledge and help you get tuned up for the season before the snow really starts to fly.

*This event is meant as a refresher for folks that have taken a Level 1 or avy rescue course.
