Have you ever seen an atomic human bounce, a squirrel back flip, or a space shuttle? These are not the tricks of Saturday morning cartoon characters, but maneuvers in slacklining – the latest craze at the A-Lodge. Slacklining is similar to tightrope walking but on a flat piece of tubular webbing tied between 2 support structures (anchors). Slacklining originated within the mountain climbing scene during the 80’s at Camp 4 in Yosemite. Its a perfect rest day activity.
Curious to try this addictive sport on your next getaway? Trees were once required, but the A-Lodge has installed poles to spare Mother Nature.
Nervous about high line trampoline tricks? A basic line is less than two feet off the ground, and at the A-Lodge, you’ll only topple into dirt, grass, or sand.Get In Touch
